We were oh so naive and amazingly prone to loving beauty. We never needed the intrusive thickness of a dubstep snare drum. A nice and chilled breakbeat structure would simply do. Startlingly wonderful pads, the distinctive sound of that guitar riff, the longing for sunshine and seascapes, like being between sleep and realness – this is what I and million other people were like in 1996.
Listen to Offshore when you are looking at the stars late at night and you’ll get the full feeling of the tune. Great to overdose to – this will be the sound of summer forever!
