BT – Skylarking
The initial buildup of Skylarking showcases a conception of a thousand sunflowers and the warmth in the beautiful distorted strings. It leaves a lot for our ears to imagine. It’s almost like taking the first few sips of your rich wine and waiting for a magic to happen – till it really happens… The lead melody kisses our ears and disappears into what sounds like a stunning metamorphosis of stutters, gushes and strums. The tune progresses further and its cadences bounce and flutter inside our ears like butterflies, intensifies and becomes deeper. By this time the ears start envisaging the breakdown and can barely contain all the butterfly-shaped musical notes inside. And then a phantasmagoric breakdown releases them on to the sunflower fields of infinite delirium.
