Lane 8 feat. Fractures – Hold On (Ben Böhmer Remix)
Hold On is catchy and uplifting, albeit with a darker side. There are those, and truth be told, who think that the bass and synths should be a background experience within a track, that these instruments should not define a tune, when the actual truth is, they always do. When I first heard this track, I ended up being amazed. It flows cohesively as one of the most beautiful melodic house tunes to grace my ears.
The lyrics transcend time and are instantly ear-catching, often sounding like being about loneliness, longing, missing and even the end of the world. A great tune to reminisce to!
